84: What your business could be missing: intuition in business

Whenever I mention this missing piece in business, it goes one of two ways.

Some people totally get it and have experienced it before. Others are a little confused about how they connect.

Intuition in business.

The “gut feeling” we get when we feel called to do something (or not do something) in our business is led by our intuition.

But as I expand and grow in business, there is a clear message that the more I trust myself and go with my intuition, the better the outcomes and the more growth I see.

Intuition is such an important part of business, so much so that I am dedicating this podcast episode to explore it deeper with you.

I won't be recording your podcast episode I won't be as active as I am usually, but I will still be on the DM on Instagram replying you're in between two glass or four Rosae and time enjoying the summer the summer solstice in France. Okay, so let's get into it. So, what is intuition? A lot of people ask me this question. And actually everyone is intuitive. You don't have just people who have this ability is magical ability to be intuitive. We are all intuitive. And if we search in the dictionary for the definition of intuition, it is very simple. It is the ability to understand something immediately without the need for conscious reasoning. So it is this moment where you know, you know this is what you want. This is how you want to run your business. This is how you want to interact with your audience. This is the kind of service broad software you'd like to develop. This is the impact you want to add. You know it and some refer to it as a gut feeling, which is really this kind of internal I described the gut feeling as a feeling oh, it's like, it's not an achy, you don't have any fear. You don't have you know, any real emotion. You just know it. You just have this moment where it's like a full connection with your whole body and your whole senses and your center and you're like huh this is it. This is it. And the invitation that is within light it my book is really to light it light this intuition again, light it and I'm sure you ever heard someone in the past saying you I don't know why I did that. I just did it. And then it makes sense. And I share about Richard Branson story in the book, Samantha Wills all of those beautiful story, along with case study of my client. And the intuition is about taking those risks. That doesn't make sense for anyone else. You know, going all in with your vision with your intention with how you want to grow your business and you don't have to explain to anyone while you're doing this, which is exactly what I did when I went all in with essential shift. I quit a multiple six figure job as a general manager in Telstra to go all lean to ABS this business essential shift and he grew exponentially because I always trusted my intuition. And in this book, I share with you how to trust your intuition, which is the subtitle of the book right? So why do you need intuition in your business? So I've just explained to you what is intuition and you have some exercises to connect with your intuition as part of the book. But why is it essential to connect with your intuition? As you run your business? Imagine this. If you were only running your business out of logic, you wouldn't have done many things in your business that are successful. You would have done you know all of the things that you're doing because if you're an entrepreneur if you're listening to this and you're an entrepreneur, you know we take risks daily we don't always make decision out of logic out of reasoning. And and this is what I teach in this book. It's like there is a lot of importance on the data on the reasoning on of course the thinking. But don't get stuck in the thinking mode. If you're an entrepreneur you need to act, act with your gut act with your intuition follow through. Just do it which is the campaign that inspired just lighted campaign which is a whole marketing campaigns that we will start disclosing from early September but really like the just lighted campaigns like just do it. Because your intuition is always working for your highest self for your highest good for the best possible outcome. And you will never have all of the information. You will never there is always a moment where you have to connect with your heart where you have to be courageous courageous coming from the whole Old French class which means the heart and it's really like you need to take those bold move, make those bold move, take those actions that are not making sense for anyone. And some reason why you need to tap into your intuition. Why you should consider tapping into your intuition because it helps first reason it outskirts out to noise. You will hear so many things around you shouldn't do this. You shouldn't do this. This is what you need to do in business for it to work law. If you connect with your intuition you cut off all that noise. And your intuition helps you guide you in the right direction which is your own direction and your path is unique. I share within the book light it's great to get your copy. How to find your own path the second reason why tapping into your intuition is essential in business is it helps you make aligned choices. Once you learn how to listen to your intuition and how to trust it. You will make the choices that are good for you and your business aligned with your own energy with your own vision with your own goal in business. Serve reason why tapping into your intuition is essential is it helps you trust yourself and build confidence it is a muscle the more you trust your intuition the more you make decision, you back yourself with those decisions that are unique to you. That doesn't make sense and I have so many example which I will share after about my own story, listening to my intuition. This is when the magic happens. This is when you are gaining confidence you are confirming that you are your own authority. You are the sacred CEO as I call off my client, sacred CEO and beyond business let give let me give you a fourth reason why trusting your intuition is essential. It helps you live in align life because you build a business around the life that you want to live. So you're not chained to your laptop, you're not following someone else's recipe. You are living the life that you want to live. So they are just some of the reason here and you know it's of course, way more reason to trust your intuition in business and so on and so forth. But for me, some example of when I fully trust in My intuition is really launching my course I Aveda in business. No one else has ever weaved together the principle of Iveta

with business and taught it in this way. writings, his book, this book that you will be able to read very soon as you preorder it. I never define myself as a writer as an author. I would have never thought about writing a book but he came to me through a deep meditation and it was really like you need to write this book. This is this is what you want to do. So just just doing just lightly just follow through and writing my book has been really an iterative process. Quitting my corporate job, as I mentioned, quickly to start my own business, but also starting this podcast. Starting this podcast was fully intuitively led and then the strategy came into place and then the data and all of that so I always lead lead with my intuition. But again, strategy and data are essential. So some ways before you read my book, like you may be like oh my gosh, I want to already tap into my intuition. How can I do that? There are some ways to tap already into your intuition which is connecting with rituals. So having some rituals where you cut down the noise where you make space and where you connect within with what are the whispers of your soul. So journaling is a beautiful way to do that. If you're not someone who likes to journal you can pull some Oracle Card and read the messages on the card and use that to guide you. Meditation is really really beautiful, all connecting with nature, really going outside and connecting with the cycle of nature connecting with the sound of nature. Connecting with the Earth, barefoot, all of those kinds of ritual. Because if you are present and if you're quiet in your mind, then you drop into your heart and your gut and then you start feeling knowing what your intuition is whispering to you. So this is where connecting with your intuition is not that whoo, whoo. It's actually what lots of entrepreneurs are doing. And a lot of successful entrepreneur, a lot of entrepreneur that are walking their own path beating their own drum, and I want you to be one of them. So as you listen to this podcast episode, feel free to DM me on Instagram with what you're doing to tune into your intuition. If you've ordered your copy of the book, I can't wait to read your message on Instagram at essential dodge shift. And as always, if you love this podcast, please follow it.
